There is much to do in Costa Ballena, so hereby some suggestions: -Beaches,  surfing First of all you can go to one of the many beaches of Costa Ballena and for surfing at Playa Dominical, Playa Dominicalito, Playa Hermosa and at Uvita. - Mangroves tour A 2-3 hours boat trip through the mangroves looking for crocodiles, three kinds of monkeys, boa constrictors, sloths, scarlett macaws and many other kinds of birds and bats.		-Tour en los Manglares Un viaje de 2-3 horas en bote por los manglares en busca de cocodrilos, caimanes, monos, boa constrictors, perezosos, lapas y muchos mas aves y murcielagos.

- Hacienda Barú A visit to this private park is very worthwile. You can walk various trails through the park, with or without a guide. - Nauyaca Waterfall Suitabel for experienced and non- experienced horseback riders. After having breakfast at Don Lulo’s farm, you ride to the impressive Nauyaca Waterfalls. That’s fun!		- Las Cataratas de Nauyaca Para jinetes experimentados y no experimentados. Después de desayunar en la finca de Don Lulo, tú vienes a la impresionante Cataratas Nauyaca. Eso es divertido!
- Whales and dolphins tour In the months of July till October the whales with there whale-calf arrive from the South Pole on their way north. A whale-calf can only stay under water for a short time, and is being pushed up by its mother in order to breathe. That is why you will be able to see many whales. Often you will see dolphins accompanying the boat. In the period of December till April the whales come back from the north. This is the mating season, right here before the coast. Males jump high out of the water or smash the water with their tails. This tour takes you alongside the coast with fanciful rocks and caves. Snorkling near a small island is included.		- Tour de ballenas y delfines En los meses de julio a octubre las ballenas que llegan con su cria desde el Polo Sur en su camino hacia el norte. La cria de las ballenas sólo pueden permanecer bajo el agua durante un corto período de tiempo, y está siendo empujado hacia ariba por su madre para poder respirar. Por eso, podrás ver muchas ballenas. A menudo podrás ver los delfines que acompañan a la embarcación. En el período de diciembre a abril las ballenas regresan desde el norte. Esta es la época de celo, aquí mismo, antes de la costa. Los machos saltan alta del agua a romper el agua con sus colas. Este tour le llevará junto a la costa con rocas y cuevas. Snorkling cerca de una pequeña isla está incluido.

- Tour to Corcovado or Caño Island You go by boat alongside the coast of the Peninsula of Osa. Near one of the entrances of the park you go ashore. From there you make a guided hike through the park, approximalely 3 hours. Caño Island forms part of Corcovado National Park. The chiefs of the Indian tribes from the Diquis Valley used to be buried here. Close to the coast of the island there is a possibility for snorkling and scuba-diving. A spectacular exploration, not because of the corals, but because of the great amount of fish and turtles that live here.		- Tour hacia Corcovado o Isla del Caño Usted va en barco junto a la costa de la Península de Osa hacia una de las entradas del parque Corcovado. Desde allí se puede hacer una caminata guiada por el parque de approximadamente 3 horas. Isla del Caño forma parte del Parque Nacional Corcovado. Los jefes de las tribus indígenas del valle del Diquis solían ser enterrados aquí. Cerca de la costa de la isla hay una posibilidad de snorkling y el buceo. Una exploración espectacular, no tanto por los corales, pero debido a la gran cantidad de peces y tortugas que viven aquí.
-Tour to Boruca During a walk through the village of Boruca you will get to know the inhabitants who make beautiful masks, spin yarns, weave and dye cloth in a craftful way. -Esferas Tour Esferas are big, perfectly round balls, made of stone. Indian tribes that lived in this area made these balls. The biggest found until now has a diameter of 2,8 meters. A guidewill take you to Palmar Sur where you will visit a small museum. After that you will visit a banana plantation where some of  these spheres still lay in their original setting.
